Our Story

Our journey started over 16 years ago, when Synergy founder and CEO Danny Zigal launched his own candy brand.  Danny decided to look after his home market since he couldn’t find the right distributor who understood his vision. So he rented a warehouse and a van and loaded it with containers of candy and drove it all around Hong Kong convincing retailers to carry his product.  It was then and there that Danny decided to get into the world of FMCG distribution, to provide fellow brand-owners with the opportunity to get their products into the Asia-Pacific market managed in the right way.

Danny comes from a family of entrepreneurs who have settled in China for 4 generations. He inherited from his grandfather and father a wealth of knowledge about running a successful business in Asia.  Ever since founding Synergy, Danny has expanded the network in South-East Asia, grown its online business in China, increased the brand portfolio, diversified the business model, and turned Synergy into one of the leading and most trusted distributors in Asia.
